How to delete your data

Delete everything (your Hitpost account)

  1. Log in at app.hitpost.app.
  2. Open Account in the menu.
  3. Under Delete account, click Delete my account…, enter your password, type DELETE and confirm.

This immediately deletes your account, connected social accounts and their access tokens, scheduled posts, uploaded videos and photos, captions and short links. Encrypted backups expire within 8 weeks. Posts already published on Instagram or other platforms stay there; delete them on that platform if you wish.

Disconnect only an Instagram account

In Hitpost: Settings → Accounts → Remove next to the account. Its access token is deleted.

Or on Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Hitpost → Remove. Hitpost can no longer access the account.

Disconnect TikTok or YouTube

In Hitpost: Settings → Accounts → Remove. Or on the platform: TikTok app → Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions; for YouTube, your Google account permissions page.

Can't log in?

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your data. We confirm and delete it within 30 days.
